WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
We are based in Middlesbrough.

ARE MORE JETS BETTER?
Many people think they should go for the hot tub with the most jets, assuming that would provide the best experience. However, more jets doesn’t necessarily mean a better experience, what’s more important is the placement, pumps and power of the jets.
In fact, some of the best spas on the market have between 40 and 60 jets. If they had 100 or more, the power would be shared between them all, meaning each one was weaker and less satisfying.
WHAT IS YOUR CHEAPEST HOT TUB?
We do not sell cheap hot tubs only the highest quality hot tubs. If you decide to purchase the cheapest hot tub you can find, you may at first think you’ve saved money but they are cheap for a reason they wont have as many components inside of the hot tubs and you will probably find they will have no insulation resulting in high running costs hence why they can charge so little for the hot tubs.
WHAT ARE THE RUNNING COSTS LIKE?
We would never try to tell you exactly how much your hot tub is likely to cost to run. This is because there are lots of different factors that affect running costs (regularity of use, ambient temperatures, electrical tariff, location of the hot tub). You may see claims from some companies of “90p per day” but this is likely being calculated purely on just the cost of keeping the water hot, without considering initial start-ups and running any of the jet pumps. This can be a little misleading because if you want to use the hot tub your running costs will obviously exceed this and is impossible to determine the exact cost without knowing how often the hot tub will be used.
Therefore, we’d rather have a more honest conversation with you pre-sale that doesn’t leave you confused about your running costs later on down the line. This can mean your weekly running cost can be anywhere between £15-£20 per week dependent on usage and other factors as described above. If you choose one of our R10 Energy Efficiency Hot Tubs these can cost around £15 per month due to the thick insulation. We are continually developing our hot tubs to be as cost efficient as possible.
Our hot tubs also come with a luxury lockable cover to provide maximum insulation. We have a thick Spa Protector available as an accessory which provides protection and insulation.
WHAT INSULATION ARE IN THE HOT TUBS?
If you are wanting a hot tub with the best insulation the R10 Energy Efficient Hot Tubs with 2 inch foam insulation are the hot tubs to go for, costing around £15 per month to run.
WHAT WARRANTY COMES WITH THE HOT TUBS?

Without water around: 300kg
This is only estimated weights of the average size hot tub, each hot tub is different.
WHAT IS YOUR HOT TUBS MADE OUT OF?

WHAT OTHER EXTRAS DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Cover lifter is recommended for easy access in and out of the hot tub, this is a mechanism which will attach the cover to the hot tub making it so the lid will fold back and forth.
O-Care is recommended too as it reduces the amount of Chlorine or Bromine needed up to 78%. Chemicals can irritate eyes, ears and skin, so O-Care is especially safe for children who love to go underwater.
Both these extras can be added on each product page.

CAN THE HOT TUB BE SUNK INTO DECKING?
Yes but get some people to help to reduce risks of damages when lowering it down. If you ever had an issue with your tub depending on where the fault was, we would require access to all sides of the hot tub. It may be the case of lifting it back out so we can fix the problem, therefore it would be your responsibility to have this lifted out for when we arrive. It is your decision to sink your hot tub into decking, we would not recommend it.

CAN YOU FULLY INSTALL MY HOT TUB?
We offer delivery and installation option on all our hot tubs. (Electrics must be fitted prior to delivery).
WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO SET UP MY HOT TUB?
A smooth, flat, structurally sound, level, even surface that is capable of uniformly supporting the entire filled weight of your new hot tub plus the weight of the users. A filled spa can weigh a great deal. Make certain that the location you choose can support the weight of your filled spa.
You need to consider having a power supply that is close enough, but also far enough away so that water cannot splash into the socket. Allowing water into the equipment compartment can damage the electronics, or may result in tripping your house’s circuit breaker or RCD.
Leave yourself easy access to all circuit breakers and RCD’s. Also, leave access to at least the entire front of the spa (the removable panels provide access to the spa’s equipment) for periodic spa care and maintenance.
Also consider your surroundings: placing your spa near a wind break such as a fence will help to reduce wind exposure, helping it to retain more heat and in turn help to reduce your running costs. You should also consider where you will drain the water when required.
CAN YOU HOLD THE HOT TUB FOR ME UNTIL MY GARDEN IS READY?
Once your hot tub is in stock if not already, delivery must be taken within 2 weeks. If you are wanting us to hold this longer payment must be made in full after placing the deposit.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY HOT TUB WATER DAILY?
The first is very important; shower before you get in. Your body will have substances on it that will contaminate hot tub water. These include sweat, soap, perfume, shampoo, deodorant, and your swim wear can contain traces of detergent and fabric softener. If you make sure to wash them off before you get in, the hot tub remains cleaner for much longer.
The more contaminated the water becomes because of what you introduce to the water, the harder the hot tub must work to be sure it is clean. More chlorine must be added to be sure the water is clean and safe and the hot tub’s pumps and filters will have to work hard to remove these contaminates in the water. Because of this, avoid using fake tan as it dissolves into the tub water and easily can stain the shell and filters. Your swimwear only should be rinse washed without detergent. If your hot tub foaming, you will need to use anti foam, which reduces foam that can occur when incorrect cleaning products or excessive algaecide, hair products or make up, false tan creams or skin conditioners get into the water in your tub. Simply pour a cap full of anti foam around the edges of your tub and watch the foam disappear.
If you use your hot tub every day, consider using a water clarifier to help clean the hot tub of all the soaps, gels, lotions that you and/or your friends, family cannot prevent getting into the spa. A specifically formulated surface cleaner removes any build-up of dirt that may occur around the waterline. Use it on a weekly basis.
Use test strips to measure the chemical level of your water. Dip the testing strip in your water and compare the colour of the pads on the strip to the coloured squares on the testing strip container. If the coloured pad is the same as the square patch on the container you do not need to add any chemicals. If they are different, you need to adjust your hot tubs’ chemical level, add small amounts of chemicals to the water, re-testing each time until the coloured pads match the squares on the container. Wait about 5 minutes between retests and make sure your hot tub water is running when you add chemicals, because it needs to mix in the water well.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO CHANGE MY WATER?
It is easier than you think to make your water last for over 3 months even with every day usage. Your hot tub water needs to be treated with certain chemicals to maintain its cleanliness and needs to regularly clean the cover and filter.
DO I HAVE TO USE CHLORINE IN MY HOT TUB?
Chlorine is a sanitiser, can be used in a granule form. The granules dissolve into the tub water and it can be used to boost chlorine levels quickly. But don’t overdose the tub.
HOW DO I FILL AND DRAIN MY HOT TUB?
Simply fill your hot tub with a hose pipe and drain it by unscrewing the valve as shown in this video. We recommend connecting hose pipe to the valve and lead to where you want the water to go. How to drain your hot tub – Click Here
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAT UP?
It can take from anywhere between 4 hours and 20 hours heat up a hot tub. Most hot tubs will heat up water at a rate of between 3 and 6 degrees per hour. The amount of time it takes will depend upon the temperature of the cold water, the efficiency of the hot tub and the quality of the hot tub’s insulation. Once heated leave at temperature you want and it will remain at this.
SHOULD I TURN MY HOT TUB OFF?
We recommend leaving hot tubs running at all times at the required temperature you desire, this way it will always be ready to use without waiting for it to heat up.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 13AMP AND 32AMP?
32amp means your jets and heat will run at the same time. 13amp you can either have the jets on or the heat. All hot tubs can be ran off a 32amp connection which is what we recommend to get the most out of your hot tub.
WHERE CAN I BUY EXTRA FILTERS FOR MY HOT TUB?
Please contact our team by phone or email to order extra filters for your hot tub.
HOW WOULD I CLEAN THE FILTERS?
The best and simple way is to remove the filters from your hot tub and give them a good blast with water from your garden hose. For more information about filter maintenance please click here.
WHAT DOES O-CARE DO?
O-Care can reduce the amount of Chlorine or Bromine needed up to 78%. Chemicals can irritate eyes, ears and skin, so O-Care is especially safe for children who love to go underwater.
Your skin will feel soft and smell very nice.
The mixture of high quality mineral salts will leave your skin feeling soft and odourless. No need to shower after bathing.
Just add the 2 compounds to the spa water once a week using the measuring cup included.
The O-Care box will last 3 to 5 months.

We only sell a few models which are HSG282 compliant one of which is the Cuba hot tub located on the website in the R10 Energy Efficiency Hot tubs category.
We supply to holiday rentals and it is not required by the law to have a hsg282 compliant hot tub when renting out a accommodation with a hot tub. You can use any of our hot tubs, we recommend the R10 Energy Efficiency Hot Tubs which are very economical, simple to use and perfect for commercial use.
HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED TO LEAVE BEHIND FOR A COVER LIFTER?
You will need around 50cm for the cover lifter to fold back behind the hot tub.
WHICH SIDE CAN THE COVER LIFTER BE FITTED?
Depending on what size hot tub you buy, for example if its a 2m x 2m it can be fitted at any side. For rectangle hot tubs for example a 2m x 1.8m it will need to be fitted at the 1.8m shorter sides.
HOW LONG IS THE LEAD THAT COMES WITH A 13AMP HOT TUB?
We supply a 2 metre lead with all 13amp hot tubs, if you require more please let us know before delivery.
DO YOU SUPPLY THE CABLE WITH 32AMP HOT TUBS?
Although all our hot tubs can be hard wired to a 32amp supply including the 13amp hot tubs, you would need to have fitted before delivery a 32amp supply on its own isolator with 10 metres of tail flex coming from it, which we will connect to the hot tub if you choose our installation delivery option.
WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 1 PUMP, 2 PUMP & 3 PUMP HOT TUBS?
Simply the power, the more pumps you have the more jets it can handle.
HOW DOES MY HOT TUB GET IN MY GARDEN, WHAT ARE THE ACCESS REQUIREMENTS?
Normally we ask for 10cm more than the depth and length of the hot tub as we pull this through on a sledge sideways, but beware of obstacles and sharp turns. Please read our pre delivery instructions below or give us a call if unsure.
If you require a crane or Hiab it would be your responsibility to organise, we will then arrange a delivery date and time to which the crane firm will be arriving.
It is your responsibility to make sure you have enough access for the hot tub, if we arrive and the hot tub will not fit, this will be dropped for you to find a alternative way, or we would take the tub back but there would be a surcharge for the failed delivery attempt.
Please read our Pre Delivery Instructions, Click here to view.
WHAT ELECTRICS NEED TO BE FITTED BEFORE DELIVERY?
For 13amp hot tubs you will need an outside 13amp socket.
For 32amp hot tubs, all of our hot tubs including the 13amp can all be hard wired to a 32amp supply. Which you will need a 32amp supply fitted prior to delivery with 10 metres of tail flex coming from it.
